In 2014, we manufactured and installed a large, fully glazed fronted sauna with ergonomically designed ceiling and seating to Stobo Castle.

We have now just completed phase two of this project for the poolside location to replace the existing steam room. We ripped out the old unit and front wall, this was then replaced with a large, glass fronted steam room (to mirror the look of the adjacent sauna), complete with under seat LEDs and roof mounted colour changing LEDs. The tiling on the exterior walls was also replaced with a lovely eye-catching glass mosaic.

We always aim to accommodate any specific requirements that our clients may have to minimise any disruption and down time for their facilities. At Stobo, due to the nature of their business, the whole project was carried out during night shift to allow the sauna, then steam room respectively, to still be in operation during the day to allow guests at the Castle to still enjoy some of the poolside leisure facilities.

It took the team a while for their body clocks to adjust to the nocturnal hours of night shift, but the satisfaction we enjoyed when we stood back and looked at the completed project made it all worth while!
