Tadelakt Steam Room

While we are used to seeing steam rooms finished in large format or mosaic tiles, a fantastic alternative to this is Tadelakt. Tadelakt is a waterproof plaster surface traditionally used in Moroccan architecture and creates a beautiful, seamless finish to steam room interiors. Tadelakt benefits from a soft, undulating character and can be applied in most colours. We recently installed a domestic steam room in a rustic brown Tadelakt finish and despite its’ origins being steeped in history, it provides a lovely modern look to thermal suites.
